Utility Engineer (#11817)
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelor
of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
-Registered Professional Engineer in the State of FL or the
ability to obtain that within 6 months.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in
wastewater and/or water supply projects that would include,
preparation, review
and submittal of construction documents, knowledge of wastewater
treatment and
collection, knowledge of water treatment, storage and distribution.
-Knowledge of and experience with County and surrounding
community design standards.
-Work independently and/or lead a team of Designers to
successfully complete significant planning and design tasks for water
resources
projects; assist Project Manager with project budget control and
communication
with the client on project status and technical details.
-Proficient at using MS Office products (Word and Excel
mainly), experience using AutoCAD , with additional experience in
“WaterCAD,
SewerCAD”, AutoCAD, experience using MS Project or other scheduling
software.
-Position requires sound organizational and planning skills.
