Solid Waste and Excavations Services

SED has experience in designing and permitting Construction & Demolition debris landfill facilities, Bio-solid composting facilities and vegetative land clearing debris disposal facilities.

SED also has designed and permitted numerous commercial mine excavations for sand, shell and rock materials. SED can assist the mines in obtaining FDOT certification of materials and overall mining operations.

Excavation Design and Permitting

SED provides design and permitting as well as construction management and annual reporting for excavation of fill dirt, sand, rock and shell base material operations. Permitting for wash plants and crushers is also available.

Solid Waste Disposal design and Permitting

SED provides entitlements, design and permitting for solid waste disposal facilities such as landfills, C&D landfills, bio-solid compost facilities, land clearing debris disposal.

Our Projects

Charlotte County Bio-Solids Recycling Center

A 8.5 acre composting facility for the recycling of bio-solids and vegetative debris into soil amending fertilizer at the Charlotte County Solid Waste Facility on Zemel Road in Charlotte County.

R&D Cattle Excavation

A 280 acre excavation producing fill dirt, sand and shell base material used in developments and road construction.

Waterside Excavation and Recycling Facility

A 78 acre excavation producing fill dirt, sand and shell as well as providing for the disposal of land clearing vegetative debris.
